The best places to watch the game and grab a proper bite to eat in Swindon
Woodlands Edge
Midwinter Close, Swindon, SN5 5EZ
Telephone: 01793 887635
The football fan is extremely well catered for at this Hungry Horse pub, with television screens not only broadcasting all the live action on Sky Sports (that's 116 games) but BT Sport as well.
Food wise you can expect a wide variety to choose from and if you get there early enough you can bag one of their tables that seat six with in-built screens showing all the action.
Almost better than a corporate box!
The Kings Arms
20 Wood Street, Old Town, Swindon, SN1 4AB
Telephone: 01793 522156
If it's food and footy you're after, you can't go far wrong with 20 at The Kings in Old Town.
Not only do they serve their bar menu 7 days a week, they also have a number of TVs beaming all the latest live action from BT Sport in the bar and lounge.
Mackenzies
16 Wood Street, Old Town, Swindon, SN1 4AB
Telephone: 01793 430111
No SKY or BT Sport here unfortunately but if it's an England game or the FA Cup final, this open plan venue is ideal for a bite to eat in front of the big match.
Rudis Bar & Kitchen
21 Regent Circus, Swindon, SN1 1PR
Telephone: 01793 523892
Always a fans' favourite for good food, Rudis is the perfect place to catch the Prem and Champions League team whilst enjoying an ice-cold beer and a bite to eat.
They serve food from 10am till 9pm Monday to Saturday - so even those awkward 5.30pm kickoffs on Saturday are catered for!
The Tawny Owl
Taw Hill, North Swindon, Swindon, SN25 1WR
Telephone: (01793) 706770
Tables ideal for tucking in while the action unfolds on 3 screens in the restaurant area.
The Southbrook, Swindon
Southbrook St, Swindon, SN2 1HF
Telephone: 01793 513540
Eat in the bar where a nice big screen shows all the games that matter.
